We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer who will work closely with our clinical, design, and development teams to build and deliver cutting-edge applications to change the delivery of healthcare globally completely.

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
This is one of the most important parts of the platform. The integration team focuses on integrating into multiple areas of Medical institutions e.g. Medical Devices, EHR/EMR records seamlessly. This role is language agnostic with a key focus being on people who have experience integrating into this space using FHIR, HL7, and DICOM.
Building REST APIs for use in Big Picture’s web application
Integrating with customers and third parties through a variety of interfaces including custom APIs and medical standards
Collaborating with our multidisciplinary product team, which includes technological, clinical, and business team members.

What we look for :
At least 3 years of recent backend development experience
Experience developing API-driven applications
An appreciation of performance and security best practices for RESTful services
Experience using a range of AWS services
Preferably be proficient with Java 8 or above
Preferably be able to design efficient and optimised relational database models
